In our childhood, did we learn from the beasts?
Are they what made us so ill?
If it be true, can it really be blamed?
From what else did we have to learn?
True, we learned from nature, we learned from ourselves.
But that only goes so far.
We seemed so innocent...
~
And in our teenage years we changed, as most teenagers do.
With teenage, came everything expected.
We became wild and reckless.
But we slowly matured into adulthood.
But what did have to learn from in our teens?
There was no one to guide us, therefore, we became warped.
Who was there to talk to?
We were forced to contain our emotions...
~
As adult, everything became tiring and stressful.
There was something inside us, waiting to burst.
We grew wings to ease us, but once we learned to fly we began to soar.
This brought upon a new feeling, but it was terribly overwhelming and it began to feed our inner turmoil.
~
And now we are left without even the tiniest bit of sanity.
It's safe to say that we have lost it.
But could this be the first in a series of losses?
O, what hath becometh of us?
And what happens when we've lost all there is to lose?
~
I can tell you this:
When we are left only with our last hope, a hope that our tainted wings do fall from our fossilized hearts, we will become deperate.
Suicide will seem like our final option.
We will tear the wings from our body, enjoying the excruiciating pain.
And we will plummet to our sweet death.
All else will collapse, and existence shall cease to exist.

Well done, though I'm still waiting for my wings
